Personal Branding – Identity and Influence

Personal branding is not a new buzz word or something only millennials do. Personal branding is how others see you and the things you do to build up your image both in person and online. 

A brand can be a symbol, a name or a reputation but in short a brand separates one thing from another. Branding on a business-level is common but in today’s digital age it is becoming increasingly important on a personal level as well.

As professionals we already have a personal brand but most of us are not aware of it, managing it or using it to build their personal and professional reach. Our course focuses on discovering and building the brand called YOU. Once you understand your brand, you can use it to influence your professional behaviour, leadership style, public appearances, your physical look, networking, social media interactions, messaging, emails and more!

4. Define your target audience (S.W.O.T)
5. Create your marketing action plan – digital and in person
6. Define ongoing brand management
7. Be yourself, everyone else is taken

Your facilitator

Michael’s experience is gained through working nearly thirty years in marketing, retail, sales and service spanning many sectors, from fashion and discount variety to not for profit. His expertise lies in negotiating for multi-site retail management and developing teams capable of delivering results.  He is an advocate of authenticity in personal branding and the importance of strong leadership and people management skills. The last decade of retail management he spent working with a not for profit organisation helping them achieve real retail results.
