Steve manages our Mandurah office and has been a trusted training professional for over 30 years. His knowledge and passion for online training has seen him develop and manage e-Learning systems and training resources for various state government and private organisations. Steve oversees our MOODLE learning management system and ensures a highly practical and engaging user experience.
An internationally accredited NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer with a passion for helping people and business realise their full potential, Steve manages Skills Strategies International’s, coaching department. SSI Coaching delivers individual, group and business coaching as well as delivering accredited NLP Practitioner training programs and personal development sessions.
It isn’t all about work though; Steve splits his recreation time between riding his Triumph Thunderbird Storm, exploring the regions back roads in his 4 x 4 or working in his urban, sustainable garden, combining aquaponics and permaculture techniques.
Cristy has been part of the team for over 4 years. Her passion for the delivery of quality training and contextualised learning is what separates her from other trainers in the industry.
Cristy specialises in traineeships, with a focus on working with people with a disability and mental health issues. Her professional approach sees her working with learners changing career directions and assisting organisations in improving customer relations.
Cristy brings a diverse experience having worked in industries such as retail, finance, telecommunications, IT and fashion.
Mother of 3 kids, owns 3 cats and missed her call to be a pastry chef.
Tenille joined us in January 2016 and is a highly valued team member who brings a professional and mature attitude that resonates throughout the organisation.
With over 8 years’ experience working with various Registered Training Organisations,Tenille is in charge of managing the resulting and issuing of qualifications and compliance reports for government departments.
Tenille is our first point of contact and her willingness to support and positively geared communication ensures our clients receive a responsive and warm welcome.
Passionate about travelling, has done more travelling than some, not as much as others and still dreams of seeing the rest of the world. Loved diversity of culture and there is always something new to learn.
Glenn Joined Skills early in 2017 and brings with him a range of life experience along with education and training diversity.
He qualified as a secondary teacher in 1999 after having spent time in the military and NGO fields. Glenn has stepped out of teaching to travel the world as an Executive Security Manager and again to work within the prison system as a training supervisor. His most recent experience in schools is as a VET Coordinator.
He is responsible for delivering training and works alongside our partner schools. Glenn has a story for every occasion and brings these to the table when delivering to make training entertaining and insightful.
Rode from Brisbane to Perth on a motorcycle – in summer! He wants to be a librarian so he can sit in a corner and read for the rest of his life.
Jo has a strong background of GTO and RTO experience spanning over 18 years in the Western Australian VET arena. Her training supervisory and management roles within the mining and construction industry along with Government contracts has given her a wide variety of experience on which to draw upon her knowledge. Having previously completed qualifications with SSI as a student, and then working alongside of Sandra writing tenders, she has recently returned to us as our QCR Manager.
With a passionate but compliant approach to all that she does, Jo enjoys consolidating her years of various experiences into keeping SSI compliant and reviewing our practices so that the student can have a better experience each step of the way.
Jo is very approachable and has the uncanny knack of simplifying the legal jargon and regulations that abound us as an RTO.
Jo has an Associate Diploma in Horse Husbandry and Management and her first training role was teaching apprentice jockeys how to ride. Jo has travelled the world extensively and thrives on unplanned adventures.
Annette offers extensive knowledge in marketing, corporate strategy, business development and business operations. Having held strategic growth positions in a large number of industries across continents for close to 25 years, Annette has created an expertise, insight and entrepreneurial vision that has supported many a business.
She held a number of impressive positions developing international channel agreements for a European Digital Marketing Agency, marketing Western Australia as a Business Events destination on a global scale for the Perth Convention Bureau and assisted a tech start up with launching a global app gathering data around social determinants. She brings a passion and dynamic personality to every workplace.
Annette is a proud mother of an iGeneration son that keeps her on her tows. She is addicted to early morning spin classes and riding her horse bareback in the ocean.
Matthew has been involved in vocational education and training for 20 years. Commencing this work in Schools to develop VET in School programs that met the needs of the students and local industry. More recently he has work with a large Registered Training Provider to develop new and innovative courses as well as developing quality process for the delivery of VET in Schools programs.
He has just finished building by hand his first hollow wooden surfboard.
Christine has a vision for excellence in the training industry. Her background is within the Health Industry, Management, Human Resources and Training. Christine has been training in the health industry for 11 years.

Ross is one of the most authoritative permaculture teachers, designers and consultants in Australia
Ross is also one of the pioneers for introducing permaculture into the school curriculum, and he has held many workshops, talks and courses devoted to the integration of permaculture principles into the educational curriculum, as well as being involved in setting up permaculture-designed gardens in about twenty schools, both primary and secondary, private and state (public) schools. Ross had been a high school science teacher for over twenty five years.
In recent years Ross has focused on developing and delivering accredited permaculture training courses from CII through to Diploma Permaculture.
Ross has had a long involvement with wastewater treatment and reuse through his business Water Installations. Ross has developed a number of greywater reuse strategies and technologies, and a range of approved products, and has installed these in homes and commercial premises throughout WA.
Shaanti has over fifteen years experience working within a Registered Training Organisation environment, including developing, delivering and evaluating training and assessment, implementing standards, policies and processes and managing compliance.
Shaanti specialises in the facilitation and assessment of the Certificate IV and Diploma of Training and Education, Leadership and Management, Business and Project Management. Shaanti is known for her enthusiastic, engaging and fun training style and is also a qualified and passionate Instructional Intelligence and Tribes practitioner.
Lydia is our newest member and works with us in a part-time capacity whilst she is finishing her Undergraduate Psychology degree at Murdoch University.
Lydia brings a positive and diligent attitude to everything she does in life. This attitude combined with a strong belief in the transformative power of education and that we are all students of life-for life makes her a great addition to the team.
Lydia has been practising yoga for 10 years and dreams of travelling to India one day to meet a true Yogi Master.
